Northeastern Pennsylvania’s fall foliage provides the perfect backdrop for the Steamtown Marathon. This race, which was the inspiration of local runners, began in 1996. The 26.2 mile course runs from Forest City to downtown Scranton and attracts over 2000 runners and thousands of spectators every year. St. Joseph’s Center has been fortunate to be the beneficiary of the event since its inception.

The marathon will be held on October 13, 2019.
