Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy seeks to rehabilitate or develop an individual’s ability to perform routine daily tasks such as dressing, eating, bathing and personal grooming. Licensed therapists also work with patients on specific needs to help them return to their work and leisure activities.

St. Joseph’s Occupational Therapy Program offers the following Outpatient Services:

  • Functional and sensory evaluation (both adult and pediatric)
  • Upper extremity splinting
  • Upper body strengthening/rehabilitation
  • Cognitive skill development
  • Fine motor training
  • Activities of daily living evaluation treatment
  • Treatment for neuromotor dysfunction
  • Sensory integrative techniques and perceptual training
